The Valencian Museum of Natural History is in charge of the Valencian Institut of Animal Biodiversity, Taxonomy and Conservation (i\Biotaxa), whose interests include research, conservation and dissemination of Valencia’s historical-cultural heritage, the development of educational activities aimed at school, University and the public in general, that contribute to a greater understanding of the Animal Biodiversity, current and fossil record, in our society, as well as its commitment to the conservation and protection of animal of our natural environment.
